I researched the best water flosser to find the perfect one for daily dental care. After reading expert reviews from reputable sources like the new york times, healthline and dentaly, two models consistently stand out as top recommendations:
Waterpik Aquarius Water Flosser

Philips Sonicare Cordless Power Flosser 3000

The Waterpik aquarius offers 10 pressure settings, 7 interchangeable tips for different users or needs like braces, implants, etc and it is ADA-approved. It seems like a powerful solution for deep cleaning at home.
On the other hand, the Philips sonicare 3000 features innovative quad Stream technology, 2 flossing modes and 3 intensity levels. It is cordless, sleek and seems ideal for daily use and travel.
However, I am having trouble deciding which one would best suit my needs. I am mainly looking for something that is easy to use, effective at removing plaque and gentle on the gums. Portability is a plus but reliable performance is key.
So which one would you recommend, the Waterpik aquarius or the Philips sonicare power flosser? Any advice or personal experience would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Best water flosser, Expert recommendations to choose
Re: Best water flosser, Expert recommendations to choose
Unfortunately, both of the products you mentioned are made in China.
Here are some alternatives that are not.
Panasonic Cordless Water Flosser - Reviewers on Amazon say this one is made in Thailand. Unfortunately it's out of stock at the moment at Amazon, but it seems to be available on Panasonic's site.
Panasonic Professional Water Flosser for Braces - The product page says this is definitely made in Thailand, and it's in stock. The only difference is that it includes nozzles suitable for people with braces.
Be careful of Panasonic in general, as they do many a lot of things (maybe most things now) in China, at least things that are sold outside of Japan.
A lot of sites say that Oral-B is made in Germany, but everything I see points to them being made in China. It could be an instance of the EU getting them from one factory and everyone else getting them from another.
I just saw there's another thread on this topic, so you can read more details here:
