I resigned myself to having to get a cheap China-made tub spout. But then I came across this from Danco.
Not only is it cheaper than stuff made in China, I was happy to find that it was made in Taiwan. It was a win-win-win (not buying from China, getting superior quality, and supporting freedom).
The tub spout worked perfectly, of course. The construction and workmanship of the spout, the diverter, and all the parts were perfect. Can't say that about anything like this I got from China.
