Anyone have any good leads on where to find a sewing machine made anywhere but China?
I'm disappointed that every one I check goes back to China, especiallu brands like Singer.

Re: Sewing machines not made in China
Happy to report that the top-selling sewing machines on Amazon appear to be made in places other than China nowadays. This include:
- The Brother XM2701 - 4.7 rating from over 17,000 reviews as of this writing. Made in Vietnam.
- The Brother CS6000i - 4.7 rating from over 20,000 reviews (highest-rated sewing machine on Amazon). Made in Vietnam.
- The SINGER Heavy Duty 4452 - 4.4 rating from over 11,000 reviews. Made in Vietnam.
- The Janome JW8100 - Highly respected Japanese brand. Manufactures out of Japan, Thailand, or Taiwan.
- The Husquvarna Viking Jade 20 - Highly respected Swedish brand, owned by the same Private Equity firm that now owns Singer and Pfaff. These appear to be made in Taiwan.
It looks like the big brands are figuring it out, but small up-and-coming brands like MagicFly are still making things out of China. I hope they wake up.
