These are a bit tough to find, but they exist. Again, don't rely on Amazon or Google search which will always show made in China first. Why? Follow the money, of course. Amazon makes its money by pushing the cheapest product, regardless of where it's made or what its quality is.
The other unfathomable thing is that a lot of manufacturers outside of China don't consider including their country of origin in their listing, a huge unforced error IMO.
Here are some brands to consider.
Pharma-C 70% Isopropyl Alcohol Wipes - Made in the USA
Sani-Hands Hand Sanitizer Wipes - Made in the USA
Purell Hand Sanitizing Wipes - Made in the USA
BD Medical 326895 Alcohol Wipes - Made in the USA
Kendall Webcol Alcohol Preps - Made in the USA
Dynarex Alcohol Prep Pads - Made in Israel or India
Covidien 6818 Webcol Alcohol Prep - Made in the USA
Wipex 70% Isopropyl Alcohol IPA Wipes - Made in Israel
Flygiene 70% Alcohol Travel Wipes - Made in the USA
McKesson Germicidal Wipes - Made in the USA
Micro-Scientific Opti-Cide Max Disinfecting Wipes - Made in the USA
iCloth Multi-Purpose Electronics Wipes - Made in the USA
EasyTouch Gamma-Sterilized Alcohol Prep Pads - Made in India
I believe a lot of the manufacturing here is a continued reaction to the days of COVID when it was impossible to find any hand sanitizer or alcohol prep pads, as every American brand had outsourced to China, and China was hoarding the supply. It's refreshing to see that there are still many brands continuing to make thing outside of China. The problem, of course, is that if consumers rely on Amazon or Google search, they're invariably brought back to made in China products—even though many of those are poorer quality and more expensive! It shows the extent to which China sellers have learned to manipulate search results—and is literally a risk national security.
If you need to buy alcohol prep pads and wipes, be sure to buy from one of these brands (or leave a comment with a brand you like). It's not a matter of if but when another health crisis will come, and this time the USA needs to make sure we haven't once again foolishly given up all production to China.
