Well, you hope you never need one but when you do they're nice to have.
Amazon, of course, is flooded with toilet plungers. It took me a lot of time to find just a few that weren't, and not surprisingly they've got super reviews and in some cases are the original product that China manufacturers are copying. In some cases they're even cheaper than the knockoffs. That's what happens when Amazon's algorithm rewards all the wrong things.
1) Korky Beehive Max - A plunger that looks like a "beehive", allowing for a tighter seal. Made in the USA
2) simplehuman Toilet Plunger - Some people are reporting this is made in Taiwan. Trust but verify on this one.
3) NEIKO 60166A Toilet Plunger with Patented All-Angle Design - Has an astounding 16,000+ reviews, overwhelmingly positive. Made in Taiwan.
4) Tolco Industrial Toilet Plunger - If you need 24 plungers, here's where to get them. Good for office buildings or for resale. Made in Taiwan.
5) Libman 0598004 Premium Toilet Plunger - Libman is always reliably made in the USA. I buy all my brushes and mops from them.
6) PRO Power® Super Plunger - An amazing plunger that delivers over 140 pounds of force to the clog. If this doesn't do it, call the plumber. It's made in the USA and assembled by disabled US veterans. It's also cheaper than ones made in China that have copied this very design. Shame on Amazon for showing a page full of knockoff products from China when you search for this.
