Just came across this stainless insulated drinking bottle. The Alfi IsoBottle made in Germany.
As these are very rare, I liked to share it with you.

Interesting!

In the US, it looks like Alfi is trying to penetrate the market by selling serrated knives that ironically are made in the USA!

I do see the IsoBottle on Amazon in the USA, but all except for a handful of carafes are fulfilled by sellers in the EU (including Amazon UK itself). This is probably because Alfi is owned by Thermos, and Thermos doesn't want them eating in on their market share in the US (one of many foolish decisions that Thermos made over the years, the other being their own outsourcing to China).

That said, I am glad that even though Alfi is owned by Thermos, they apparently haven't been forced to change their manufacturing practices. Ironically in the long run this may be what saves both companies.

Name didn't ring a bell until I saw their isolated coffee cans. Many hotels and restaurants use them
because they are of good quality. Since I didn't find a "change country" button, I tried alfi.de, and
it's actually their German site, including a shop finder so I can support a local shop (I prefer this
over ordering online).
You know, my actual isolated coffee can really sucks and it's not build to last, so it's time to get a
replacement. ;)
