This is yet another category that seems to be completely dominated by China...but multiple countries in Southeast Asia seem to be coming on strong as a competitor, very likely a result of the 2018 tariffs on China. This is great news, but I notice that Google and Amazon search continue to amplify China sellers and demote other countries. The reason is simple: China sellers have mastered the art of gaming Amazon reviews so that their listings dominate—using tactics such as getting fake reviews or even downvoting competitors. Amazon turns a blind eye, because either way it makes money.

These listings can be confusing because nitrile gloves can be used for medical purposes as well as food prep, general cleaning, car repair, etc. Generally speaking you'll want to read the box to make sure you're buying the right product if you're buying for medical or food prep (although read the reviews, as many companies just throw every keyword they can think of in their title).
After unleashing the COVID virus on the world and then profiting by cornering the PPE market, it's nice to see at least a few countries providing an alternative. Granted, it's almost impossible to tell how many of these are really China companies that have opened factories in Southeast Asia, but at least some of the control and infrastructure is going to these emerging countries.
These are likely to in and out of stock a lot (again, these sellers aren't as aggressive as China sellers in keeping their Amazon presence dominant), so I'll try to update this post from time to time.
