Unfortunately, battery brands often use multiple manufacturers and factories, so there's always a chance you'll get stuck with a China made one (the country of origin is generally written on the battery itself). But these are brands that I've found tend to avoid China more than most.
Generally safe:
Panasonic - Easily the #1 pick. It says right on the product page "proudly made by Panasonic in our Indonesia manufacturing facility and packaged in our USA factory"
Amazon Basics - The customer images predominantly show that these are Made in Indonesia. While Amazon Basics makes some sizes in China, these seem to be exclusively made in Indonesia.
Hit or miss
Energizer - Some of these appear made in Indonesia, others in Cina.
Avoid Duracell, Philips which are made in China. Surprising, as Duracell makes most of their other batteries for the US market in the United States.
