Chess set not made in China

Chess sets are one of those categories that you can go page after page on Amazon and not see anything NOT made in China.

That's why I was astonished to find this set by a company called "Marble Range" out of Pakistan. It's a gorgeous chess set that made 100% of marble. It's less than $100 as of this writing. Usually to find a 100% marble chess board you'll pay well into the $200-300 range, making this an amazing find if you're looking for a great gift for a chess lover.

If wood is more your thing, this Wegiel Handmade European Ambassador Chess Set is made in Poland.

If you can spend a little more, there's a higher end one from Husaria, also made in Poland.

As with all LEGO sets, as long as you don't live in China, you won't get one made in China.
