Computer power supply not made in China

According to this Walmart listing , the Corsair RMx series of power supplies are made in Vietnam, not China. Likely a result of the 2018 tariffs. Yes, it's likely that a China company opened a factory in Vietnam and is still pocketing the profits, but at least it's a step in the right direction. ht...

Re: Where are Brandit bags made?

Here's some confirmation on their site. https://brandit-wear.com/en/Services/Production/ I suppose they deserve some props for honesty and transparency, but how odious is it that a company selling military-style equipment to be sold to citizens of the US and the EU is directly funding the military t...

Re: My experiences with Ritter toaster and water cooker

I'm a bit jealous of you guys in Europe...it seems that you have so many more options than we do in the US. It's pathetic how quickly so many US brands are willing to sell themselves out for money.

Re: Curling Wand

Hi LondonMuminTexas,

You may be in luck! I found this model by Vodana being sold on Amazon to the US market.

It's made in South Korea, has some pretty good reviews, and one reviewer even said she heard about it while on a movie set.

Re: Photographic lenses and who makes them

Awesome find, Carsten! Thanks for posting! From what I can see, the original ALPA went bankrupt in 1989, and its assets (mainly its name) was purchased by Capaul and Weber in 1989. in 2022 ALPA of Switzerland was sold by Capaul & Weber AG to Hans Keist, who is now the owner and CEO, who appears ...

Re: Drones not made in China?

Unfortunately, as far as I can tell there are literally no consumer drone manufacturers left anywhere in the world. Parrot (based in France) and Skydio (based in the US) used to produce consumer drones, but they left the consumer market. GoPro attempted to break into the market but they failed. Iron...

Re: Christmas Lights Not Made in China?

I remember when I started this site, Christmas lights was one of those categories that confounded me. It was IMPOSSIBLE to find any that weren't made in China, so I gave up for a while. Like you, this past Christmas I spent a few hours going through dead bulbs and entire strings that wouldn't line u...

Juicer not made in China

I stumbled upon this motorized juicer that's not made in China: https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61fgttya90L._SX522_.jpg Waring Commercial BJ120C Compact Citrus Juicer It actually reminds me of the juicer we had growing up (which I still have and is still working after 40 years). For the life of ...
