Re: Extension Cord made in the USA

If you don't need a heavy-duty extension cord, I just bought myself this set of four GE indoor extension cords, all made in the Philippines: https://amzn.to/3ZqtJVm https://ws-na.amazon-adsystem.com/widgets/q?_encoding=UTF8&ASIN=B08BW1V1XX&Format=_SL160_&ID=AsinImage&MarketPlace=US&a...

Magsafe Charger Alternative

If you have a Magsafe device by Apple (iPhone 12, iPhone 13, etc.) you probably learned too late that a MagSafe charger doesn't come with your phone and will cost you an additional $39, which like most of the cost of your phone will go straight to China. Time will still tell if Apple is able to extr...

Whittling (wood carving) knives made in Ukraine

For some reasons, knives seem to be one of those products that have defied getting lost to China manufacturers. Don't get me wrong, there are tons of cheap knives out there made in China. But for high-end and speciality knives, the market for products made outside of China seems to be booming. Why? ...

Re: Stainless insulated drinking bottle, made in Germany

Interesting! In the US, it looks like Alfi is trying to penetrate the market by selling serrated knives that ironically are made in the USA! https://amzn.to/3msopC6 I do see the IsoBottle on Amazon in the USA, but all except for a handful of carafes are fulfilled by sellers in the EU (including Amaz...

Re: cellphone battery pack case

Here are a few good options: https://notochina.org/power-banks-and-cables-for-smartphones-not-made-in-china/ I personally use the Mediasonic one (which is still available for purchase directly from Mediasonic on eBay). I'm very tempted to go for the Samsung 20,000 mAh version, which would be perfect...

Re: Under desk keyboard tray

Here are a couple promising choices: 1. iMovR Stowaway Ergonomic Keyboard Tray I love iMovR's transparency as they have a whole page dedicated to talking about how they make things in the USA. In addition to this model, they offer a variety of others for different desk types. 2. Ergonomic Keyboard T...

Cuckoo Rice Cooker Made in Korea

I normally recommend Zojirushi for rice cookers made in Japan, but this is the lowest I’ve seen for a NMIC rice cooker. It’s from South Korean brand Cuckoo.

Cuckoo Rice Cooker

It’s $75 and made in Korea.

Natchmann Bordeaux Wine Glasses made in Germany

Here's a crystal wine glass set made in Germany.

https://amzn.to/3hnXQvL

At the moment it's selling for $10.89 for 4 glasses. At this price, I don't know how long it'll last.

Wiper Blades Not Made in China

The wiper blades on my very old Infiniti finally gave way (I mean, the rubber completely disintegrated and flew off), so I bit the bullet and went to Amazon to buy new ones. As I've come to expect by now, the top ranking Amazon recommendations are the fake brand names like AUTOBOO, MOTIUM, AECIWELL,...

Re: Snow Tube not made in China

lol, unfortunately it's a fact of life here where I live, so we make the best of it by building snowmen, sledding, skiing, skating, etc. But I agree--after about 20 minutes playing in the snow I'd rather be on a beach with a nice cool drink in my hand.
