It's made in South Korea, has some pretty good reviews, and one reviewer even said she heard about it while on a movie set.

I’ve been searching high and low for a curling wand, not made in China. I’m happy to buy from S. Korea, the European Union, any democracy. And I’m happy to pay a premium.
