Ear plugs not made in China

by steve » Thu Nov 14, 2024 4:15 am

A few years ago I stole—er—borrowed a handful of foam ear plugs on a long distance flight. They were individually wrapped and I loved how they contoured themselves to my ear. Since then I've looked all over for them and haven't found anything but cheap China rip-offs. Until now.

When I found these Mack's Ultra Soft Foam Earplugs I was thrilled, not just to find that they come 50 to a bottle, but that they're made in the USA. They're the #1 doctor recommended ear plug and like anything else you put into your body, it's good to know that it's made in the USA using US materials by US workers.

There's also a brand called Flents that makes these in a contoured shape. They're great too.

Mack's also sells silicone putty that you can use as ear plugs which are the official ear plugs of USA Swimming.
